Note that the better the DAC, the better the performance result in using the DoodleBug.
This is because better DACs will have chips and circuitry that easily better the noise and distortion that exists in a USB signal/power supply. Other, more simple DACs don't have as far to go to reach their practical limits.
Note about RMAA: there have been some infamous comments about RMAA and its validity in making absolute measurements. Under similar testing conditions, there is nothing whatsoever that discounts its value in making relative comparisons (as in the above).
